- We can see the colours are kept to a minumum,to make the page look professional. These colours are mainly red, black and white.

- The magazine is of all different types of music from rock to pop.
- The target audience would be the same as the front cover.
- The main image is of the band which would be on the front of the magazine to show that they are the main focus of the magazine.
- The name of the magazine is still used in the page to show that the logo of the magazine runs throughout the magazine. The logo is in a box aswell as alot of the text on the page so it gives the magazine a neater and more professional look. The way that the page has been set into columns also follows this professional look.
- The colour scheme from the front cover has also been used in the contents page so the magazine looks professional and not messy. They contribute to the image, the colours are simple and dont over do the page and make it look crapmed and too busy.
- The capitals have again been used like the front cover. It goes with the genre of the magazine as capitals look masculine though the magazine is aimed at both men and women.
- The image relates to the target audience as the band appeal to alot different aged people and males and females. The stance of the people in the image is non threatning towards the audience and looks welcoming to read on through the rest of the magazine. The background where the band are standing complements them as they again seem non threatning and the secene seems calm and light.
- The mise en scene is important as it brings out the codes of the front cover and brings out the different genres mixed into the magazine. We tell as we can see bands such as The Kasier Chiefs who are pop rock and then The Streets who area mix of rap and RnB. The clothes the band are wearing in the main picture refelcts their music genre which is rock as the skinny jeans and the look of the tshirts. There are not alot of props which have been used so this means that the image is focused on more and becuase the colours are limited and the layout is simple, the page doesnt look so busy so it doesnt take the attention off the images.

Genre
- The genre of the magazine is pop music.
- The target audience is from late teens onwards as some of the artists are madonna and she is an older generation singer.
- The main image is of madonna in the centre of the cover. This relates to the music genre as her music fits in with alot of up to date pop music.
- The image is a medum close up and had been more aligned to the left of the page.
- Madonna's clothes are dark colours which relate to the black background to make her face stand out on the front. This may suggest a dark side to her.
- The colours used are black, red and white. This complements the colour of Madonna's clothing and so her face os focused on by the audience.
